The West Indies must be dejected after the Proteas performance at the Wanderers, when the top 2 batmen get a ton each in an ODI. Then the man at number 3 comes in and sees that little white ball like a beach ball and probably sees it travelling at beach ball speed as well. Amla and Rossouw opened well for the Proteas, but when AB de Villiers came on, in the 38th over, nobody thought they will witness an innings that would be like watching a highlights package - 104 runs in 31 balls. He was run out at 149 in 44 balls. AB scored at 3.4 run per ball. For the West Indies, when Chris Gayle went out, they never looked threatning, they never got a decent partnership going to chase the score. My question is; are the Proteas peaking too early for the World Cup next month?
